Awareness Days
Local information days are not primarily oriented towards qualified specialists from the governmental macro-level but rather to concerned people within the project’s pilot areas.
By bringing together decision-makers on the community level, local experts, concerned associations and farmers, the attempt is made to promote the awareness of communities for the risks of local contamination and overexploitation of their groundwater and soil resources. Concrete recommendations on appropriate management practices are given and supplementary support is offered by the project.
